Two talks, one continuing question: how do we stay useful as the boundaries between product, design, and engineering keep moving?
Talk 01 · Full Sail University
At Full Sail University, I joined ProductTank Orlando and DOUX — Downtown Orlando UX for a conversation about how AI is changing product work. My part focused on a practical question: can coding agents help product leaders make prototypes and test ideas sooner?
Talk 02 · Downtown Orlando UX
At the Downtown Orlando UX Meetup, I traced the path from the web designer era through years of specialization and into a new kind of builder. The idea at the center of the talk: your center of gravity can stay deep while your reach gets wider—and AI can help us cross disciplines to solve real problems for real users.
Give the team useful tools
I built a shared Figma system for our product design process. It shows what belongs in each phase, how to document the work, and what the team needs before moving on. Reviews became clearer, and designers had a structure they could adapt instead of starting over every time.
Workshop artifact
We used a themed workshop to critique the system and add new ideas together.
Learn together
I started a learning club where the team chooses something to read or watch, spends time with it, and meets every two weeks to talk about it. We compare what stood out, where we disagree, and what we want to try in our own work.
Keep learning
Courses and certifications give me a reason to step outside my usual methods, test what I think I know, and bring better questions back to the work.
